Our Vision
We provide a warm, safe, and supportive community that nurtures a lifelong love of learning. We honor each child’s path as they become independent, confident, and compassionate individuals, while learning to care for themselves, others, and the world. Misty Mountain learning Academy, guided by the educational philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori, nurtures the natural unfolding of the whole child in a supportive, culturally rich, and diverse learning community. Our belief is through the deep realization of each individual’s unique gifts and abilities, we become independent, self-motivated, and contributing members of the world’s community.

The family and school partnership as staff, parents, guardians, and students, we believe we are all stewards of our school community. We believe we have an obligation to care for and treat each other with respect and compassion. We assume positive intent. We work together to lift each other and our school up to our greatest potential. When we see something that needs improvement, or just a little TLC, we act on it. Most importantly, we come together in partnership for our children to provide a warm, safe, and supportive community that nurtures a lifelong love of learning.
Dream Team
Our team of teachers has always been one of our greatest assets. We have eight teachers and specialists orienteering, art, music, Chinese, and Spanish. The teachers are members of the Montessori teacher accredited program with credentialing courses for teachers at the elementary and primary levels
